Charity Loyalty Rewards™ combines the tax advantages of giving with the benefits of Lifetime Cash Rewards™ for both the donor and the nonprofit. Through this cost-effective service, your nonprofit can fund its operating requirements, grow its endowment, and build donor loyalty. Here’s how it works:
Inform Your Donors
As part of the Charity Loyalty Rewards™ service, echoDonations.org™ provides your nonprofit with customized email marketing materials. These materials are emailed by you to persons on your donor list, including current, potential or lapsed donors. We also provide you with marketing material to include in print items such as newsletters, mailings and handouts.
Donors Donate Online
Your nonprofit has the option to have a customized webpage inserted into your website where donors are directed to make online Charity Loyalty Rewards™ donations. The minimum irrevocable contribution is $25. Your nonprofit has the option to raise this minimum. Additional contributions of $25 or more per week/month can be made at any time. echoDonations.org™ processes the donation, deducts a two percent sales and marketing fee and a three percent credit card acceptance fee, and then informs your nonprofit of the donor’s gift via email or online status report. Thus, 95% of every donation goes directly to serving your mission.
Build Loyalty as Donor and Your Nonprofit Received Lifetime Cash Rewards
echoDonations.org™ helps you retain donors for their entire lives. Both the donor and your nonprofit split the lifetime cash rewards, paid annually, for the life of the donor. You have the opportunity to thank them automatically every year as the investment income is credited to their credit card, the perfect time to encourage them to give more. Plus, your nonprofit receives additional operating funds.
Distribution of Assets
Upon the death of the donor, the remaining assets in the fund attributable to the donor’s gift are distributed to your nonprofit. Thus, your nonprofit’s endowment grows.
Administration Management
echoDonations.org™ performs all the daily and annual administration of the Charity Loyalty Rewards™ program. This administration includes all legal notices, investment updates, annual income distribution, and tax reporting. Your nonprofit can access its planned giving status reports via a secure webpage. echoDonations.org™ charges a 1% annual administration fee is charged for these services.
Investment Management:
The donors’ donations are pooled with those of other donors into a Charitable Remainder Mutual Fund (CRMF) and invested in a professionally managed, diversified portfolio of money market, fixed income and equity investments. echoDonations.org™ charges a 1% annual money management fee for this service.
